# TraxAgent > Remote damage capture for trucks, for damage assessors and truck fleets. When a truck is damaged, the driver gets an SMS link and documents the damage on their own phone, without installing an app, guided at any hour in their own language, with AI photo checks. The result is a complete case with photos, video and written data for the insurer. TraxAgent is an add-on: it works alongside existing fleet management software and does not replace it. It is built and run by opencream.ai (Opencream SASU, Chantilly, France). Built in collaboration with TraXpert, a market leader in truck damage assessment. ## Who it is for 1. Damage assessors (Kfz- and Lkw-Sachverständige, Schadensgutachter, assessor offices) who today drive out to the truck or send someone to capture the damage. With TraxAgent the driver captures it remotely, at any hour and in any of 26+ languages, and the assessor receives a complete case to work from. Landing page: https://traxagent.de/for-assessors (German: https://traxagent.de/de/fuer-sachverstaendige). 2. Logistics companies and truck operators with their own fleet that can document damage themselves when no external assessor is involved, for example damage abroad, as an add-on to their existing fleet software. ## How it works 1. Email intake: damage notices go to the customer's TraxAgent email address. AI reads the vehicle, plate, driver phone and location into a draft case. 2. SMS link: staff check the draft and send the driver an SMS link with one click. 3. Driver chat: there is no app to install. The link opens in the phone's browser, and the chat copes with weak coverage. The driver picks a language; the chat runs in 26+ languages through AI translation, including instructions, buttons and retake notes. 4. Walkaround shot list, set by what is damaged: tractor only 7 photos (4 angles, 2 tires, VIN), trailer only 8 (4 angles, 3 tires, VIN), tractor and trailer 15, coupling 11. 5. AI photo checks: each photo is checked as it arrives (right angle, sharp, damage visible). When one misses, the driver gets a specific note and retakes it on the spot. 6. OCR reads the VIN from the type plate and the odometer from its photo. 7. Damage photos: for each damaged area at least three photos, one frontal, one from left to right and one from right to left. Where it helps, the driver adds photos or videos of the accident scene and of damage that was already there. 8. Video: a walkaround video follows the photos, and the driver can talk through the damage. The speech is transcribed in the language the driver spoke and translated into German and English. In the case it runs as timed subtitles under the video, with a short German and English summary. Further subtitle languages on request. 9. Admin case view: photos, video, VIN, odometer and case data sit together in the admin portal (German or English), ready to review and pass to the insurer or assessor. Drivers report this way in the evening and at weekends, while the office is closed. VIN guidance covers tractors from Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, DAF, MAN, Iveco and Renault Trucks, and trailers from Kögel, Schmitz Cargobull, Krone, Wielton, Chereau and Schwarzmüller. ## Hosting and data - Hosted in Germany (Hetzner, Falkenstein). GDPR-compliant data handling. - One organisation per customer (assessor office or fleet), with role-based access. - Photos, videos, chat messages and case emails are analysed by AI services from Google and Anthropic, acting as processors.
